Our members' interests are diverse. No matter where they sit in the supply chain, regardless of their size, or what their specific interests are, we provide all members with information and support relevant to the running of businesses operating in the industry. To support our members further we operate a range of sector groups for members to review developments in legislation affecting the chemicals industry in general and for those with special interests in surfactants, biocides, personal care and water treatment.
The Surfactants Formulation Group (SFG) runs seminars, typically once a year, for companies operating throughout the surfactants sector supply chain, including surfactant manufacturers, formulators, distributors, industrial end-users and retailers.
Regulatory Affairs Forum (RAF) members’ meetings held quarterly provide opportunities for members to discuss Regulatory Updates, BCA Alerts and developments in UK and EU chemicals legislation and other regulatory activities affecting the industry in general.
The Biocides and Biosciences Group (BBG) is a forum for member companies with interests in biocides and biosciences, microbiology and the development of disinfectant standards.
The Personal Care Group (PCG) is a forum for member companies supplying ingredients to the personal care and cosmetics industry.
The Surfactant Producers Group (SPG) is a forum for members manufacturing organic surfactants and their intermediates.
The Water Treatment Group (WTG) is a forum for member companies supplying chemicals, equipment and support services for all aspects of industrial and domestic water treatment.
